BASIC CONDUCTING AND CHOIR TRAININGGetting the most from a choir and congregation
A course led by John Dexter
Director of John Dexter Harmony, Conductor of Göthe Institut Choir, formerly Organist & Master of the Choristers, St Patrick's Cathedral This course will take a practical approach to conducting and participants will develop their skills in an enjoyable learning environment. The course is designed with the needs of the musician in the local church particularly in mind. By the end of the course you will be familiar with basic conducting technique and will understand how to encourage a church congregation or any group to sing.
