Silent WorshipIn 1990 the Joint Committee for Church Music in Ireland (since disbanded) published a thought-provoking report on music in the Church of Ireland. The report Silent Worship provides a rationale and justification for the use of music in church, gives a fascinating historical background, analsyes the reasons for the shortage of church organists, and makes practical recommendations for the future.
