Services at Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin

Sung Services:

  • Sunday: Choral Eucharist at 11.00am & Choral Evensong at 3.30pm
  • Tuesdays in Term: 6.00pm Choral Compline sung by the Cathedral Consort
  • Wednesdays in Term: 6.00pm Choral Evensong sung by the Girls’ Choir
  • Thursdays in Term: 6.00pm Choral Evensong sung by the Cathedral Choir
  • Saturdays in Term: 5.00pm Choral Compline sung by the Cathedral Consort

Sung services times may vary, especially out of cathedral choir terms. Please check the website and music list for current details.

Said Services:

  • 10.00am (Mon-Fri) Morning Prayer
  •    5.00pm (Monday) Evening Prayer
  • 12 noon (Mon-Fri)  Peace Prayers
  • 12.45pm (Mon-Fri) Eucharist in the Chapel of Our Lady
  •    5.00pm (Friday) Evening Prayer

The Eucharist at 12.45pm on Thursdays is also a Healing Service, with the opportunity for individual prayer.

The cathedral has an ongoing programme of music and liturgy of interest to church musicians.

Sunday Masses at St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral

  • 6.00pm: (Saturday) Vigil Mass. St Mary’s Pro-Cathedral Girls’ Choir, except in July and August
  • 9.30am: Said Mass
  • 11.00am: Sung Latin Mass (Novus Ordo) – with the Palestrina Choir, except in July and August
  •  6.30pm: The singing is led by the Pro Nuova Music Group

Services at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin

Monday to Friday

  • 9.00am: Sung Matins (during school term)
  • 11.05am: The Holy Eucharist (said in St Stephen’s Chapel, on Wed, Thurs, Saints’ Days and other festivals)
  • 5.30pm: Choral Evensong

Saturday

  • 11.05 am: The Holy Eucharist

Sunday

  • 9.15am: The Holy Eucharist
  • 11.15am: Sung Eucharist or Choral Matins
  • 12.15pm: Eucharist said in the Lady Chapel on 2nd & 4th Sunday
  • 3.15pm: Choral Evensong
  • 4.30pm Úrnaí na Nóna (said in the Lady Chapel on 2nd Sunday)
