Simple Accompaniments
In 1985 the Joint Committee for Church Music in Ireland (which operated from 1976 to 1990) published 75 well-known hymn tunes, arranged simply and set in lower keys. Regrettably, the publication did not circulate widely, as many copies were destroyed in a flooding incident.
The following 13 of these arrangements may now be downloaded and more will follow. Please let us know if there is a hymn tune that you would like included.
