David O’Shea talks to concert organist and TU Dublin Conservatoire organ lecturer Simon Harden about his musical education, and his experience studying and working in Germany. Simon discusses some of the aspects of the German church music scene that could inform Irish church musicians’ practice, and offers advice to young musicians embarking on their careers.
